THE PRIMUS — FOUNDATION SERIES

Built spec for spec to outplay paddles twice the price.

Every number on this page is the same spec sheet you'd find on an 18K carbon paddle at $250–$350. The only number we changed is the one on the price tag.

The spec sheet

  • Face — 18K carbon fiber, toray-grade weave
  • Core — 16mm polymer honeycomb
  • Weight — 8.0 oz, balanced swing
  • Grip length — 5.25" cushioned
  • Grip circumference — 4.25"
  • Paddle dimensions — 16.5" length × 7.5" width
  • Shape — elongated standard, larger sweet spot

The 18K carbon fiber face

The face is where spin and control live. The Primus runs an 18K carbon fiber weave — the same tight, high-thread-count surface the major brands put on their flagship paddles. It grips the ball longer through contact, so you get heavier spin on your drives and a more predictable pop on resets. This is the single spec most responsible for how a paddle feels in your hand, and it's identical to paddles selling for triple the price.

The 16mm polymer honeycomb core

Core thickness is the trade-off between power and control — and 16mm is the number most pros land on. Thick enough to soften your dinks and kill vibration at the kitchen, thin enough to still drive through the ball from the baseline. The polymer honeycomb absorbs shock so your touch shots stay soft and your arm stays fresh deep into the third game.

Same materials. Half the price.

Line the Primus spec sheet up next to a $300 paddle and the materials match: 18K carbon face, 16mm polymer core, balanced 8.0 oz build. What you're not paying for is the pro tour sponsorship, the retail shelf space, and the brand markup stacked on top. That's the whole difference.
